Job Details:
Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Oman
Experience: 5 to 6 years in a company based in India or the Gulf
Salary: OMR 350-400 per month + Accommodation + Food Included
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash management (withdrawal and deposits)
- Payments to vendors and others
- Collection from debtors and record-keeping
- Regular account entries including voucher preparation, booking sales through invoices/cash memos (using software like Tally)
- Monthly bank reconciliation
- General taxation compliance, report preparation, and return filing
- Conducting internal and external audits
- Monthly/quarterly account closures and financial statement preparation
- Providing feedback to higher management
Position Overview:
- Age: 30 to 37 years
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a reputed company or similar organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Professional qualifications (CFA/CPA) are a plus
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of financial trends and software
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of statutory regulations
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in Tally
