Exciting Job Opportunities in Qatar Shutdown Project
Company Overview: Join a leading Oil & Gas company for an upcoming shutdown project in Qatar. Shortlisting is currently in progress at the Ambe International office in Mumbai.
Positions Available:
- QC Inspector – Welding & Painting
- Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Duration: 4 Months Offshore, 7 Days per week, 12 hrs per day
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas projects, with 3-5 years offshore experience
- Certifications: CSWIP 3.2.2, NACE 1-COR, BGas, ERS Level 2, ASNT Level II in UT, MT, PT, FT film interpretation
- Responsibilities:
- Welding and painting inspections
- Implement QA/QC activities according to approved QCP/ITP
- Verify dimensions and alignment tolerances as per specifications and drawings
- Prepare and clear punch points
- Previous approval from Qatar companies preferred
- QC Inspector – E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation)
- Qualifications: Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Duration: 3 Months Offshore, 7 Days per week, 12 hrs per day
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in Oil & Gas projects, with 3-5 years offshore experience
- Responsibilities:
- Sound knowledge in QA/QC inspection activities
- Prepare, verify, and update documentation/reports/records for quality surveillance
- Prepare and clear punch points
- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation codes and standards (i.e., IEC, NFPA, BS, NEMA, ATEX/IECEx-60079, etc.)
