Job Description: Talentrio is urgently seeking a highly qualified Manager / Dy. Manager – Estimation for Electrical Projects in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate should possess a BE / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering and have knowledge/exposure in Primavera P6/MS Project, ProEst, RSMeans, and CostX. A minimum of 15 to 20 years of techno-commercial experience in estimation/tendering of HV & EHV Electrical Projects comprising Electrical Power plants/Substation Projects is required. Networking skills coupled with an innovative approach and conceptual ability are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of enquiry documents, scope of work, project specifications, and other contract documents.
• Preparation/Compilation of material take-off based on drawings, data sheets, basic design, standards, etc.
• Prepare cost estimation of the project, including materials, manpower, equipment, subcontracts, overheads, etc., required for the execution of the project.
• Liaise with engineering consultants for pre-bid engineering works including material take-off, specifications, engineering man-hours, method statements, etc.
• Liaise with the procurement department for material/equipment/subcontract prices.
• Present bid review package, which includes bid basis, execution plan, strategy analysis, summary cost estimates, and financial reports, ensuring senior management is provided with all necessary information to enable competitive pricing decisions.
• Maintain good relationships with the client and consultant and develop a professional team to establish the company as the contractor of choice.

Requirements:

• BE / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge/exposure in Primavera P6/MS Project, ProEst, RSMeans, and CostX.
• 15 to 20 years of techno-commercial experience in estimation/tendering of HV & EHV Electrical Projects.
• Strong networking skills, innovative approach, and conceptual ability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
