Job Description for Quantity Surveyor and QC Inspector:
Greenline Placements is urgently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of Quantity Surveyor and QC Inspector for a reputed company in KSA. The ideal candidates should possess the necessary qualifications and experience as outlined below.
Key Responsibilities:
For Quantity Surveyor:
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and work timetables.
- Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
- Advise on procurement strategy.
- Allocate work to subcontractors.
- Provide advice on contractual claims.
- Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
- Maintain awareness of the different building contracts in current use.
For QC Inspector:
- Oversee the quality control of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works.
- Conduct inspections and prepare reports on quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Monitor the entire construction process to ensure quality and safety.
- Evaluate engineering drawings and documents.
- Coordinate with project management and engineering staff.
Requirements:
- Quantity Surveyor: Diploma/Degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the construction field.
- QC Inspector: Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in the construction field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
