A reputed oil & gas company in Qatar is urgently seeking an HSSE Lead with GCC experience for maintenance, projects, campaigns, and major turnarounds. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in safety management within the petrochemical, petroleum, refining, or power generation industries.
Position:
- HSSE Lead
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, Diploma or equivalent in HSE & Safety Management, NEBOSH Diploma.
- Experience: 15 years of maintenance work in the petrochemical, petroleum, refining, or power generation industry, with at least 10 years as an HSE Supervisor and 5 years as an HSE Manager.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, excellent English reading, writing, and speaking skills (IELTS 6 equivalent).
- Knowledge: Understanding of safety aspects in the petrochemical industry, scaffolding codes of practice, safety hazards and control related to painting, insulation, rope access, and refractory activities.
- Additional: Ability to read and understand scaffolding design drawings.
